Smoking will be banned in all cafés and bars from June 30th onwards. Where will we go? For lunches and laughter. For smoke-filled evenings full of stimulating discussions. Will smokers become extinct, like dodoes and dinosaurs? Some images of stylish smokers for future fossil-hunters.

I absolutely have the sense for this sexy moments a smoking person can produce - sometimes. But I have to confess, I like the smokefree cafes and restaurants in general more ... the usual smokers have very less in common with the georgous person you were showing (unluckily) and at the end of the day I prefer coming back home without having to hang out all of my clothes ... sorry for being so realistic ;-))) Great collection - thank you for showing (I am remembering there was once a b/wphotography special issue by stern editors: smoking women - great!)

You're absolutely right, I hate the smell too so I never really smoke indoors myself. Still, there is something alluring about images of people smoking. It'd be interesting to see if, in the end, the cigarette will become a curiosity, an icon of times gone by.
